Chris Haggerson
Owner/Principal
Chris loves working and raising a family in the community where he grew up. After graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point and serving in the United States Army, including multiple tours to Iraq, Chris realized how much he enjoyed helping others and utilizing his problem-solving background. After serving in the United States Army, Chris worked for a defense company that focused on projects for the Department of Defense which developed technology that included turning waste to energy with cost effective and environmental capabilities in Washington, D.C.
In 2012, Chris realized the healthcare market was shifting, and wanted to be on the forefront helping others navigate what that meant to them. This also allowed him the opportunity to move back to his hometown of Winston-Salem. He began working with his wife, Mandy to build a health insurance agency that helped people evaluate their options with Medicare, under 65 insurance, group benefit options, dental and vision coverage, and life insurance. He knows that everyone’s needs are unique, and he enjoys learning how to best assist his clients.
If not at work, Chris enjoys coaching his children in sports, traveling, and watching Army and Wake Forest sports.
Mandy Haggerson
Owner/Principal
Mandy began her career in the federal government working on Capitol Hill in both the House and Senate for Richard Burr after graduating from NC State University. She enjoyed learning about the legislative process and how it impacted her community back home. After spending several years on Capitol Hill, Mandy gained valuable experience as a political appointee under the Bush administration in the Office of the Secretary of Defense as a legislative aide.
While in Washington, D.C. Mandy also worked for the defense contracting firm, CACI at the United States State Department and for then Capstrat (now Ketchum PR) to further her government affairs and public relations knowledge.
After 11 years working in federal relations, Mandy headed back to her hometown of Winston-Salem to begin an independent health insurance agency with her husband, Chris in 2012. Helping people understand all of their options for medical coverage is something that Mandy enjoys. Especially since there isn’t a one-size-fits all approach with the ever-changing market.
If not at the office Mandy enjoys volunteering at her children’s school, participating in a local 5k or triathlon, coaching her children’s sports teams, and rescuing animals. A huge advocate for animal rescue, Mandy was formerly the President for the Board of Directors at the Humane Society of Davie County and has 3 rescues (2 dogs and 1 cat) of her own.
